By regenerating hope in the lives of youth, the objective is to reengage students in school-life from participating in enrichment programs, activities, and volunteerism.
Your Life is Yours to Choose demonstrates although you were born into or may be living in a less than desirable circumstances, your life is still yours to choose. The outcome(s) of this training will be to:
- Validate the pain, trauma or suffering youth experience today
- Empower youth to build/strengthen their foundation toward their future
- Connect or reconnect youth to discovering and living their purpose
- Instill a hope and a belief system youth can create ideal lives through right-action
- Focus attention on future beginning with today
- Increase school participation to work life
- Preparedness
Show Up for Your Life challenges youth via a series of questions to largely self-assess whether or not their actions are aligned with what they say they want to achieve. Youth will be empowered to take right-action bring what they most desire into existence. Youth will learn how to:
- Take necessary steps to position themselves
- Think and speak in an affirming language
- Be able to identify, seek out and take advantage of available resources
- Groom themselves
If I Could Write My Life’s Story is a unique writing exercise conducive to the standardized writing process that causes a youth to visualize their ideal lives. Through a series of poignant questions, youth will approach the writing process—brainstorming, introduction, body, and conclusion—to creatively write their life’s story. This is a dynamic, one-of-a-kind training that can absolutely transform the life of a youth!
Teaching Talents: A Faith Based Perspective is a training the emphasizes The Parable of the Talents (The Bible, Matthew 25) and expounds on how talents are profitable.
Peer Mediation provides youth an opportunity to mediate conflicts between their peers. As a result, they are enabled to mediate their personal conflicts, and improve school climate by taking ownership of themselves and their school community.
